Bays, aisles & angles
The Car parking sidebar section holds the dimensional rules for bays and aisles.
The settings
| Setting | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Bay width / Bay length | Individual bay size. Default 2.4 × 4.8 m; adjust to your standard. |
| Angle | Parking angle — 90°, 60° or 45°. Angled bays ease turning but use more length. |
| Aisle | Circulation-aisle width between bay rows. |
| End aisle | Width at aisle ends / turning. |
| End islands | Adds planted islands at the ends of aisles. |
| Spaces per home | Your target parking ratio, checked against the layout. |
Confirm locally. Bay and aisle dimensions vary by authority — set them to match your local parking standard and verify the final layout.
