Split road & fill with houses

Two tools make road editing quick: Split to cut a road, and Fill to line one with houses.

Split road (✂)

Roads ▸ Split road, then click a point on a road or footpath to cut it in two. The two halves become independent, so you can delete, move or re-route one without the other — useful for removing a spur or inserting a junction.

Fill (🏠+)

Select a road, then 🏠 House → 🏠+ Fill places houses fronting onto it, both sides, balanced to your house-type mix and validated so they don't clash with other roads or plots. This is the fastest way to populate a road you drew by hand.

Tip. Combine them: Split a long generated street where you want a break, delete one half, draw a new spur with the Road tool, then Fill it.
